Job Description: Join a busy Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Sachse, TX, for a 13-week travel assignment as an RN. This role requires providing critical recovery support for surgical patients, managing both PACU and preoperative functions. The schedule features ten-hour days, primarily on the first floor of a welcoming facility with eight beds and a close-knit team of four staff members. You’ll participate in a rotating call schedule that includes one Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week, plus an additional weekday, making the role both dynamic and rewarding. Expect to handle procedures related to orthopedics, sports injuries, general surgery, and robotic surgeries, utilizing Meditech EMR. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment where experienced staff and new equipment make a difference, and where your skills in PACU experience and ACLS certification will shine.
