Radiation Therapist Bring Precision and Compassion to Cancer Care. As a Radiation Therapist, you'll deliver highly specialized cancer treatment while providing compassionate support to patients throughout their treatment journey. What You'll Do
- Deliver prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely.
- Position and immobilize patients according to treatment plans.
- Operate radiation therapy equipment.
- Verify treatment parameters and follow established safety procedures.
- Monitor patients during treatment.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation.
- Perform quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, nurses, and other members of the cancer-care team.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
- Wisconsin state license.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
