Associate Relations Intern (Fall 2026)

The Associate Relations Intern will gain a better understanding of the Associate Relations function within the organization (i.e. Associate engagement). The intern will develop/enhance project management skills, receive an introduction to the knowledge, skills and abilities required in a Human Resources role, and gain real life experience and exposure into the BMW culture and the manufacturing industry. The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:

• Support Associate Relations processes (Associate morale and engagement sensing, performance management process, guidelines and policies)
• Support Associate appeal and termination process
• Support multiple HR projects
• Create Associate Relations dashboards
• Process improvement activities
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or Business Management
• Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Effective communication skills
• Time management skills
• Organizational skills
• Advanced PowerPoint skills
• Advanced Excel skills
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE August 10th – December 11th, 2026
