A prestigious international law firm is seeking a billing specialist to join its Dallas office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering closely with attorneys to ensure timely and accurate client billing. The ideal candidate will have experience with legal billing, electronic billing, and client billing guidelines, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare, review, edit, and process client invoices in accordance with firm and client billing requirements
• Generate and distribute billing proformas, invoices, timecard summaries, and billing reports
• Update matter rates, timekeeper rates, and other billing-related information
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys to resolve billing questions and ensure timely invoice approval
• Ensure compliance with outside counsel guidelines and client billing agreements
• Process electronic invoices and resolve invoice rejections, reductions, and billing issues
• Partner with accounts receivable, e-billing, revenue management, pricing, cost recovery, and other accounting teams
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple deadlines and priorities

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of two years of related billing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Understanding of general accounting principles related to billing and accounts receivable
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Prior law firm experience
• Experience with client billing agreements and outside counsel guidelines
• Electronic billing experience
• Experience with elite 3e and e-billing hub
