Job Description

Mercer Technologies is an industry leader in manufacturing, rebuilding, and servicing state-of-the-art Vacuum Furnaces and aftermarket hot zones. Backed by an in-house machine shop and a 24/7 technical field service team, we supply custom components and equipment to the aerospace, medical, automotive, and commercial heat-treating sectors. We operate in a highly technical, fast-paced industrial environment where precision, quality, and quick turnaround times are paramount.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a high-energy Aftermarket & Service Coordinator to bridge the gap between our clients, suppliers, and field technicians. This role requires strong customer communication skills, a knack for procurement, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. If you are highly organized and excel at proactive client outreach, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities :

Client Outreach & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients; proactively reach out regarding project updates, service scheduling, and quotes.
Procurement & Logistics: Issue purchase orders, track vendor deliveries, and manage supplier relationships to ensure parts arrive on time.
Project Coordination: Manage customer projects from order entry to completion, tracking schedules and coordinating equipment shipments.
Service Scheduling: Schedule field service technicians and coordinate with internal production teams.
Operations Support: Maintain accurate project documentation, support inventory tracking, and assist with general operations.

Qualifications :

Experience: Previous experience in project coordination, purchasing, logistics, or client-facing customer service.
Fast-Paced Adaptability: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines under pressure.
Communication & Procurement: Strong verbal skills for client outreach and familiarity with handling purchase orders/vendors.
Tech Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); QuickBooks experience is a plus.
Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
