Job Description Job Description Position Summary We are seeking dependable and motivated Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Knightstown, IN. This position is ideal for candidates with experience using MIG and TIG welding equipment in a production or fabrication environment. Welders will be responsible for producing high-quality welds, reading prints and weld symbols, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Pay is based on experience and skill level. Key Responsibilities * Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently * Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and weld symbols * Perform part inspections during production using inspection tools and equipment * Set up welding equipment and adjust settings for various jobs * Maintain welding equipment through daily cleaning and basic maintenance * Produce quality welds with minimal rework * Always maintain a clean and safe work environment * Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed * Work overtime when required to meet production demands * Assist with training and mentoring less experienced welders at advanced levels * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely Qualifications & Skills * High school diploma or equivalent * Technical degree or certification in welding preferred * 2+ years of experience with MIG welding required; TIG welding experience preferred * Knowledge of welding safety procedures and fabrication practices * Knowledgeable in robotic welding, CNC Press Brake, Bender is a plus * Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic measurements accurately * Knowledgeable in measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, protractors * Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols * Strong attention to detail and quality standards * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Willingness to learn and grow within a structured welding program * Analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational and time management skills. Basic math skills.
