Fabricator, 3rd Shift

Job Overview A Fabricator I for Bastian Solutions will be responsible for general saw cutting and fabrication for material equipment projects. The main emphasis for this position is saw cutting and layout work, other duties to include assembly and paint prep of projects as well as general repair and maintenance of Bastian Solutions shop equipment. A Fabricator will be responsible for maintaining tolerances and dimensions specified by an individual print. A Fabricator I will typically have 1-2 years of experience in the fabrication field. Job Functions With guidance build high quality fabricated parts from blueprints with low rejection rate With guidance work from sketches/drawings to produce parts from sheet metal, plate and bar stock Keep work space in a neat and organized order Show mutual respect for coworkers Show up to work every day on time Maintain a positive attitude Overtime required when necessary Follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis) Travel Requirements No travel required (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions) Preferred Skills And Required Qualifications Relevant fabrication shop experience preferred Positive attitude, able to handle tense situations that arise Team player, able to take direction General knowledge of fabrication equipment including horizontal saws, lathes, mills, & drill presses To learn more about us, click the following link: About Bastian Solutions Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Automated Logistics company, is an independent material handling and robotics system integrator providing automated solutions for distribution, manufacturing, and order fulfillment centers around the world.
