Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe patient environment. PCTs also participate in patient education and support, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients and their families.

• Key Responsibilities: 

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) 

• Monitoring Patient Status 

• Maintaining a Safe Environment 

• Assisting with Procedures 

• Patient and Family Education 

• Emotional Support

• Documentation 

 

Requirements and Qualifications 

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred 

• Acute Care hospital experience preferred 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a safe patient environment. PCTs also participate in patient education and support, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients and their families.

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast. Lawnwood Hospital provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery.
