Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs throughout the facility on production machinery including brake presses, turret presses, laser cutters, and welding machines. Additionally, the role involves running manual machinery in the maintenance shop, such as a manual lathe, Bridgeport mills, and surface grinders.
Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
• Operate and maintain manual machinery in the maintenance shop.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Maintain CNC machinery and fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting skills.
• Electrical and mechanical repair expertise.
• Experience with tooling and machining.
• CNC machinery maintenance experience.
• Welding and blueprint reading proficiency.
• PLC troubleshooting capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• For Level III: 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• For Level IV: 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Experience maintaining fabrication equipment.

Work Environment
The position operates on the 1st shift, with working hours from 5am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. The role is based in a large, clean fabrication/assembly facility that can become warm during the summer months. The facility is involved in the manufacturing, assembly, and shipping of industrial radiators.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.50 - $33.00/hr.
