Our team is responsible for ensuring software quality across make‑and‑buy software products and related systems.What You Will Be DoingAs the Software Quality Engineer Sr you will be responsible for developing, modifying, and applying quality principles to software development and maintenance. You will lead verification and validation activities, define audit strategies, and ensure compliance with project, process, and contract requirements. Basic QualificationsSTEM degree at the bachelor level or above preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/combined educationExperience with product development phases, preferrably on software products. Basic knowledge of audit principles and techniquesSoftware Quality or Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design / Development, Product Integration and Test, with experience using causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complexExperience interpreting software design and code (ADA / C / C++) to verify implementation of requirementsFamiliarity with test equipment hardware and/or experience working with related technologiesProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Desired SkillsLean Six Sigma (Green Belt)Hands on experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SaFE, etc.)Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems / Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100,ISO9001)Experience interfacing with Government customers and stakeholdersPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
