Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, and you will play a key role in developing models for current and future system designs, and serving as the focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture for various stakeholders. Designs, develops and oversees system architectures, including complex systems and systems design activities. Serves as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture. Ensures conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system. Develops systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition. Supports internal and external design reviews. Maintains knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.As a Systems Design & Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for:• Developing a system architecture using MBSE techniques• Developing models for current and future system designs• Developing system and system element architectures, designs, and interface definitions• Supporting internal and external design reviews• Performing system architecture design using SysML based tools• Defining system functionality, including system states and modes• Defining system design for software requirements and functional interfaces• Synthesizing design characteristics into an implementable system architecture• Working with the requirements management team to ensure accuracy of the subsystem element model• Coordinating with the team for modeling and simulation scenarios, and predicted performance• Supporting system timelines and working with software and hardware teams• Documenting system design and implementation for various use case scenarios• Conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance and behaviorsBasic QualificationsBachelors Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
