Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our facility in Wilkes-Barre, PA, 18702. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment. If you have a knack for troubleshooting and a passion for keeping things running efficiently, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
