Responsibilities: Provide neonatal nursing care in a Level III NICU setting. Assist with bedside procedures such as intubation, central line, and chest tube placements. Monitor and maintain neonatal vital signs using Vent, CR monitors, Vapotherm, and CPAP equipment. Collaborate with a team of neonatologists, NNPs, and RNs to deliver exceptional patient care. Document care accurately in Meditech and paper flow sheets. Support families during stressful hospitalizations by narrating care plans and communicating changes. Manage emergency responses, including Code response and hypoglycemia management. Perform neonatal-specific cares, including ROP exams and assisting with bedside procedures.
