Data Modeler

Data ModelerJoin our team as a Data Modeler and play a key role in designing and implementing data models that support our organization's data-driven initiatives. As a Data Modeler, you will work closely with our data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our data models, as well as maintaining their documentation and metadata. You will work with cloud-based technologies which include microservice architecture, near real-time message processing, SQL and NoSQL databases. Your expertise in data modeling tools and techniques, as well as your ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, will be critical to the success of our projects.This is a unique opportunity to be a member of our team, tackling our toughest and most exciting data engineering challenges across multiple divisions.Requirements:Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.Experience in designing and implementing database structures.Ability to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.Experience in defining data structures and relationships within databases and data pipelines.Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.Understanding microservice architecture and messaging data processing.Ability to maintain and manage metadata to facilitate data understanding and governance.Knowledge of industry best practices for data modeling and database design.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database queries.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Skills Required:Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements and design effective data models.Database Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of database technologies (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL).Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.Experience: Must have experience with data modeling of relational and NoSQL databases. Work experience with Json, XML, Avro data formats, microservice architecture and message processing.Experienced in Reporting tool Quick Sight.
