Logistics Operations Coordinator Company: DHL Supply Chain Location: Fontana, CA Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator Schedule: Full?Time | Day shift 7am - 3:00pm Shift determined by operational needs Role Overview DHL Supply Chain is seeking a detail?oriented and proactive Logistics Operations Coordinator to support daily operations at our Fontana, CA distribution center . This role serves as a key link between operations, customers, carriers, and internal support teams, ensuring smooth execution of warehouse and logistics activities. The Logistics Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining operational accuracy, supporting supervisors and managers, and driving strong customer service performance. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor daily logistics and warehouse activities to support operational flow Track inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates Serve as a point of contact for carriers, internal teams, and customers regarding shipment status and issues Support Operations Supervisors with reporting, and daily operational tasks Maintain accurate records in warehouse management and transportation systems Identify and resolve shipment discrepancies, inventory variances, and process gaps Ensure compliance with DHL policies, safety standards, and customer requirements Assist with audits, and operational reporting as needed Support continuous improvement initiatives and standard work execution Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure continuity of operations Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 3–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast?paced, high?volume environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, transportation systems (TMS) preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a 3PL or distribution center environment Experience supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, or customer? specific operations Familiarity with KPIs, reporting, and operational metrics Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field Why Join DHL Supply Chain – Fontana Work for a global leader in supply chain and logistics Strong presence and career opportunities Collaborative team? based environment Emphasis on safety, quality, and operational excellence Competitive pay, benefits, and development opportunities DHL Supply Chain is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Role Purpose : Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers. Key Accountabilities : Assist in coordination of export/import shipments. Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments. Track and trace all shipments. Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) – SAP. Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports. Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends. Proactively identify problems to management. Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed. Prepare client invoice packets Confirm rates with carriers. Required Education and Experience : High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred 6 months – 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred Communication and customer service skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work as part of a team and individually #J-18808-Ljbffr DPDHL
