Job Title: Registered Nurse, OR Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM (08:45 – 17:15) Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN (Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience (2 years at a Level 1) Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The required certifications include BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA. Experience with GYN, Spine, Hands, Neuro, Ortho, Oncological Breast, and Microvascular cases is necessary. Night and weekend shifts may be required based on unit needs. Travelers are asked to take 2-3 call shifts in a 6-week period. There are 11 operating rooms that are open 24/7. During daytime hours, 10 rooms are active with 1 room reserved for trauma. There are 2 booked rooms and 1 dedicated trauma room overnight.
