About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC (18:45 – 07:15) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN (Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience (2 years at a level 1) - GYN, Spine, Hands, Neuro, Ortho, Oncological Breast, Microvascular cases experience - Scrub experience highly preferred - Ortho with Robotics experience highly preferred Description: Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The department is open 24/7 with 11 operating rooms. During the day, 10 rooms are active, with one room reserved for trauma. There are 2 booked rooms and one dedicated trauma room overnight. On-call duties are required based on call outs; travelers are asked to take 2-3 call shifts in a 6-week period. There may be floats to weekends per unit needs; weekend scheduling may fluctuate based on needs.
