Environmental Scientist

Responsibilities of the Environmental Scientist role will include:

• Perform and Prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21
• Perform records review, site reconnaissance to identify RECs, ASTM Non-scope items, BERs at the property.
• Perform interviews and investigate regulatory listings
• Identify and evaluate for environmental compliance
• Coordinate and manage tasks associated with the implementation of research and field activities and report preparation.
• Develop conclusions and recommendations for further action.
• Interpret information and analytical data.
• Prepare technical reports for submittal to clients.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or related science field required.
• 0+ years of experience performing Phase I ESAs
• Must meet the definition of an Environmental Professional as set forth in 40 C.F.R. § 312.10(b)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail.
• Resourcefulness and initiative.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong work ethic.
• Willingness to perform a variety of assignments on short notice
