Medical Assistant - Family Practice - Rancho Bernardo

We currently have two full-time benefitted positions available at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo. These positions follow an 8-hour day shift schedule, working Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00am to 12:00pm. This position includes both front office (clerical) and back office (clinical) Medical Assistant job duties. The two available shifts are: 6:45am - 3:45pm 7:15am - 4:15pm Why join Scripps Health? What you'll do: Predominantly back-office responsibilities but is expected to help with front-office duties Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures Clinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocols Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment Organizes and performs patient care services that support the physician’s practice Relaying instructions from the physician to the patient or authorized person Collecting patient data in person and by phone Documenting patient concerns, messages and care provided in the electronic medical record for the physician's review Administering medications specifically directed by the physician Scheduling of appointments and procedures Complete and accurate message taking Routing messages to the appropriate area for direction Order and referral entry, acquisition of pre-certifications Setting up of cases in EPIC plus basic registration and updating of demographics #J-18808-Ljbffr Scripps Health
