Job Title: Technical Writer (677691)

Job Summary:

• Make updates to construction materials testing quality assurance policy and process manuals such as the

Quality Systems Manual and other OMAT operating procedures as needed.

• Modify the previously listed items to provide consistency in format using basic MS Word formatting tools.

• Edit/modify/update existing documentation created by OMAT management staff.

• Edit and format manuals and operating procedures for style, consistency, and redundancy.

Qualifications:

• Five years of experience as a Technical Writer researching and writing documentation for business processes,

usability, training manuals, and development of user friendly document templates.

• BA/BS in Technical Writing or related degree.

• Expert skills in the use of MS Word.

• Expert skills in the use Bluebeam Revu or Adobe Acrobat.

• Well-developed communication skills - oral, written, listening and detail-oriented.

• Must have excellent customer service skills.

• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

**Please Note: The candidate selected for this position will be assigned tasks on an as-needed basis. The work schedule may vary from week to week from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 10 hours per week.
