Phlebotomist II - 1st Shift

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Somers Point, NJ!This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion to FTE) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.Role: Phlebotomist IILocation: Somers Point, NJ 08244Shift Schedule: Monday – Saturday 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PMHours per Week: 40 hoursStart Date: ASAPPay Highlights: $19-21.75/hour (Based on years of experience & education)Key Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture, capillary collections, and specimen collection procedures following established protocols.Collect, prepare, and process blood specimens accurately for laboratory testing.Verify patient identification, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy after collection.Ensure proper documentation and maintain required patient records.Provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.Maintain a safe, clean, and professional patient service environment.Follow all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently under the direction of the area supervisor.Support patient service center operations and maintain quality and productivity standards.Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Experience:Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections required.Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible.Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.About Pride HealthPride Health is Pride Global's healthcare staffing branch, providing recruitment solutions for healthcare professionals and the industry at large since 2010.
