Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Experience with dysphagia therapy
• Experience with aphasia and apraxia therapy
• Experience with developmental speech and language disorders
• Experience with voice therapy for vocal function disorders
• Experience with cognitive therapy for TBI, stroke, and dementia
• Experience with augmentative assistive communication (AAC)

Assignment Details

• Hospital-based outpatient clinic setting with a 3-discipline team
• Patient population includes head and neck cancer, TBI, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, ALS, and autism
• Current clinic focus includes speech, swallowing, and vocal function disorders
