About the Role
The Company is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support on a wide range of issues, with a focus on commercial work, including the review and negotiation of complex MSAs. A solid grounding in privacy fundamentals, particularly in the context of PII and identity-related considerations within agreements, is essential. The role demands a strong emphasis on client-facing commercial activities, and the ideal candidate will have a startup-oriented mindset, being agile, proactive, and collaborative, with a willingness to operate hands-on across various responsibilities. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing with the state bar of California. A minimum of 10 years' of relevant legal experience, with recent work in an AdTech environment, is required. The role involves a significant amount of contract work, including the drafting, review, and negotiation of various legal documents. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of technology law, intellectual property law, contract law, and corporate governance, and possess excellent legal research and writing skills.
