Warehouse Associate

Overview Process and restock returned parts from production areas through systems ensuring transactions are completed and filed. Responsibilities include systems transactions completion and filing, daily cycle count within the main warehouse, aiding and pulling parts for production, processing and restocking returned parts from production areas, receiving and transferring parts to appropriate areas for distribution, understanding and following all safety requirements, preparing units for shipping, supporting lean initiatives through 5S, LDMS, ACP's, RAT's, etc. Possess skills to work with or without direction.

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent, knowledge or Microsoft Word, Excel, and Baan preferred, ability to read and understand units of measurement, position may require knowledge of office equipment, prior experience working in stockroom/shipping department is a plus, willingness to cross-train and work when needed across all areas of stockroom, shipping and receiving, ability to use power tools, ability to operate a sitting and standing forklift, ability to perform work responsibilities with minimal supervision, flexibility and availability to work overtime as required by production needs, ability to work with all levels of employees within plant/office and external customers, ability to work well in a team environment, ability to accurately record and transfer information/transactions to required forms.

Physical Capabilities Based on Daily Work Schedule of 5-day work week, 8 - 10-hour shift: Sitting - 1 - 2 Hours, Walking on Concrete Floor - 6 - 10 hrs, Standing on Concrete Floor - 6 - 10 hrs, Lifting/Carrying - Up to a maximum of 50 lbs. frequently, Bending – Occasionally, Climbing - Occasionally to frequently up to 12 feet, Crawling - Occasionally to frequently, Squatting – Occasionally, Reaching – Frequently, Twisting – Frequently, Push/Pull – frequently up to a maximum of 125 lbs.
