Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc.Assembles minor products or components with a small number of details within routine and highly repetitive assembly operations. Typically works at a workbench or on a conveyer line. Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Operating from numerous manufacturing plants, warehouses, monument production facilities, a casket manufacturing plant, we are dedicated to delivering unparalleled products and services.Core Values: Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, Teamwork, ExcellenceEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Learn all aspects of production, cleaning, shipping, and setting of monumentsApply stencil and weeding designs to prep monuments for sandblastingSandblasting monuments and washing for finished productsUse of different types of hand tools and CNC machinesChecking monuments and repairing monuments for shipping or settingPalletizing monuments to ship to other locationsUsing a forklift to move monumentsTrimming, sawing, and coring monumentsSetting monuments in cemeteriesWill be required to fill in different areas when someone is on vacation or sickMust be able to read a tap measure and be detailed orientedEducation:High School, GED, or equivalent is preferredRequirements:Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordMust be able to lift 75+ lbsMust be able to understand directionsMust be able to be detailed orientedSkills:Excellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to maintain control in a fast paced, multiple project environmentDemonstrated professionalism and courtesy while delivering to our customersAble to understand and execute all instructions on a customer orderPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift 75+ lbsLifting, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, kneeling and squatting for short to long periods of time.Note: This job description may not include all duties and responsibilities.
