Digital Director

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, with hybrid flexibility Type: Full-time, Union Start Date: 8/01/26 Reports to: Communications Director Position Overview The Digital Director will lead the creation, production, and execution of digital content across social platforms, with a primary focus on graphic design, visual storytelling, and creative production. This role will be responsible for developing engaging digital assets that support organizational and policy priorities, maintain a consistent brand identity, and strengthen our online presence. This position is focused on creative execution: designing content, producing digital materials, and bringing ideas to life through compelling visuals and multimedia. The Digital Director will work closely with the Communications Director and broader team to support digital initiatives while owning the day-to-day production of creative assets. This role is primarily focused on content creation, graphic design, and digital production . The Digital Director will partner with the Communications Director and other team members but will not be primarily responsible for message development, communications strategy, or long-form writing. Responsibilities Create digital content including graphics, social media assets, videos, email graphics, and other digital materials Design creative assets for events, announcements, and organizational initiatives Produce and edit short-form video content for digital platforms Maintain consistent visual branding across all digital channels and materials Develop creative concepts and translate ideas into polished, engaging content Manage digital content production timelines and workflows Stay current on digital trends, platform updates, and emerging creative tools Collaborate with communications and field teams to support broader digital efforts Utilize Squarespace to maintain the website to post news and blogs Other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong graphic design skills and experience creating content for digital platforms Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut, or related platforms Experience creating social media graphics, video content, and other digital assets Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Understanding of digital platforms and how audiences engage with online content Compensation Paid vacation plus sick leave, paid observed holidays Employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance after 30 days Phone and computer stipend Professional development and training opportunities to support continuous growth and learning This is a cycle position and ends on November 13, 2026. #J-18808-Ljbffr
