Operations Manager

Operations Manager Primary purpose: To oversee technical and operational functions including compliance with company standards and industry best practices; to ensure consistent delivery of quality services; to oversee staffing and training needs; and to oversee budget preparation and profit and loss management. Chicago IL 60604 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee internal quality review process and report monthly. Assure compliance with client internal controls, audit requirements and service agreement requirements. Establish a business plan with goals and objectives for assigned clients. Ensure claims management policies and procedures are followed to meet service standards, state statutes/regulations, disability plan document, industry best practices and client service requirements. Establish and maintain client contacts. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES Perform other duties as assigned. Support the organization's quality program(s). Travel as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Administer company personnel policies in all areas and follow company staffing standards and training recommendations. Interview, hire and establish colleague performance development plans; conduct colleague performance discussions. Provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Licensing • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required. Professional certifications appropriate to line of business preferred. Experience • Eight (8) years claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years supervisory experience. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $71,329.00 - $85,000.00 USD Annual.
