Paralegal Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 24.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, including research, document review, and organization of case files.
• Draft, format, proofread, and file legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and other materials.
• Conduct legal and factual research as directed by attorneys.
• Prepare and maintain case files, records, exhibits, and discovery materials.
• Assist with discovery, including organizing documents, preparing responses, and tracking deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties as needed.
• Schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and other case-related events.
• Monitor case deadlines and maintain accurate calendars and tickler systems. Assist with preparing for hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Perform administrative tasks related to assigned cases and support the overall efficiency of the legal team.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Paralegal Qualifications:

• Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• Previous paralegal or legal-support experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong research, proofreading, and document-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common legal software.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
