Job Details:

Job Title: Travel- RN- NICU (675)/7P-7A/ 13 weeks

Location: Webster, TX

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 1653.95 - 1736.65

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (D/N, Rotating)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements:

• Safe medication administration including calculation of medications
• Administer medications and EMB using the 5 patient rights
• Appropriate handling of EMB
• Care of patients with NG/OG tubes
• Follow feeding orders and recommendations from OT/ST
• Care of patients with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nasal Cannula
• Care for patients with PIVs, PICCs, UAC/UVC
• Safely care for patients 22 weeks and above
• Understands use of all equipment in the NICU
• Promotes safe sleeping at 32-34 gestation
• Can demonstrate developmentally appropriate care when handling preterm infant
• Proficient in lab draws
• Knowledgeable in escalating patient concerns

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients in a hospital setting
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Monitor patient conditions, including ventilator and equipment management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care plans
• Document patient interventions accurately in the EMR
