Licensed Alcohol And Drug Counselor (LADC)Seeking: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)Experience: At least 2-3 yrs experience with Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Population; Child/Adult ExperienceWork Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday's from 9:00 am to 1:00 pmRequirements:Education: Minimum - Master's Degree in health and human services field.Personal: Strong organizational and communication skills, time management skills, customer service skills, ability to multi-task and be flexible, ability to work with diverse groups of individuals and be highly motivated to accurately complete all assigned duties.Maintain all required credentialing.A professional counselor or Licensed Social Worker (e.g., LPC, LMSW, LISW, LMFT)General knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems.Knowledge of substance use disorders detailed in the DSM-V.Knowledge of ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.Maintain a valid Driver's License.Responsibilities:Assess clients to evaluate and assign the appropriate services/education treatment program, conduct group therapy sessions, and occasionally provide counseling services to individuals.Manage a client caseload, consult with other staff as well as referring agencies, perform client follow-up and discharge duties.Interact and communicate with groups and individuals involved in the agency.Prepare, receive, and process a variety of documents and reports. Attend required training and meetings.Record keeping on an Electronic Health Record system (Qualifacts/CareLogic).Ensure that assigned program meets the policies, procedures, and licensing standards required by DHEC, CARF, and the DAODAS Quality Assurance Standards.Other duties as assigned.
