Senior HRIS Specialist

Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a leading Aviation Manufacturer seeking a Senior HRIS Specialist with at least 10 years of implementation experience. If you have Hands-on experience with Workday (or Dayforce), ServiceNow , project management tools, and Google Workspace . Must reside a commutable distance from the Washington DC Metro Area

Responsibilities :

• HRIS Systems & Administration (50%): Maintain, upgrade, and configure Workday and ServiceNow. Troubleshoot tickets, manage system releases, ensure data compliance/security, and guide business process improvements.
  
  
• Projects & Account Management (20%): Lead system implementations and optimizations. Act as the account manager for HR products (HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits) across North America.
  
  
• Support & Collaboration (20%): Partner with IT, HR Ops, and Global Data Governance teams to maintain data quality, test new features, and document HR processes.
  
  
• HR Data & Reporting (10%): Build automated reports and analytics for leadership, maintain organizational structure/hierarchies, and perform routine data audits.
  
  

Qualifications/Background Profile :

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, HR, or equivalent experience.
  
  
• Experience: 15+ years of total relevant experience, including 10+ years with HRIS implementations (HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Time Management, Payroll).
  
  
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Workday (or Dayforce), ServiceNow , project management tools, and Google Workspace .
  
  
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, project management, and customer service skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and communicate across all organizational levels.
  
  
• Certifications (Preferred): SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or HRIS-specific certifications.
  
  
• Travel 5%

Pay Range: Hourly $50.00 to $55.00
