Program Planner/Analyst - Tester Ybor Youth Clinic Tampa, FL, United States Job Identification 43892 | Job Category Business Services | Posting Date 07/02/2026 | Apply Before 07/09/2026 | Degree Level Bachelor's Degree | Locations 12901 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL, 33612, US Job Description The Program Planner Analyst/Tester is responsible for running the STI/HIV testing program at the Ybor Youth Clinic, an off‑site Department of Pediatrics. The position performs testing, processes samples, tracks results, provides patient education on safe sex and HIV prevention strategies, and supports clinic operations with front desk and nurse manager coordination. This position is grant funded and requires a level II background check. Responsibilities Perform HIV and STI testing in accordance with clinic protocols and provide appropriate follow‑up and notification of results. Monitor clinic supplies needed for testing. Participate in risk reduction activities: counsel patients, refer as appropriate to research studies, contact the clinic navigator for referrals, and collaborate with the Client Services Manager on educational messaging posted in the clinic. Assist in developing educational materials posted in the clinic. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Minimum: bachelor’s degree in a field related to the program responsibilities and two years of professional experience; or master’s degree in a relevant field. Preferred: certification in Rapid HIV testing, phlebotomy skills, Spanish speaking, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel, HIV or STI testing experience, community outreach related to HIV prevention. Four years for a bachelor’s degree. Six years for a master’s degree. Seven years for a professional degree. Nine years for a doctoral degree.
