Details Work on a 36-bed Orthopedic/Neuro unit within a hospital setting Unit staffed with charge RN, RNs to volume, 1-2 techs, and a secretary on day shift; charge RN, RNs to volume, and 1-2 techs on night shift Patient ratio of 5:1 for RNs and 8-12 patients per tech Common procedures include total joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery Uses immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment equipment Charts in Meditech EMR 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule Minimum of 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week scheduling period Requirements Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Solid Med/Surg experience required Ortho/Spine experience preferred No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and neuro surgical patients, including post-total joint and spine surgery cases Join a unit known for strong teamwork, positive outcomes, and high employee engagement Work in a Magnet-designated hospital recognized as a top workplace in Denver for four consecutive years Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position Energetic, empathetic candidates with a good sense of humor are ideal fits for this team American Traveler Job ID P-746569.
