Job Summary Join the passionate team at Murphy's as a Barista & Dessert Plater, a front-line role creating memorable experiences for our guests . This hybrid position requires a blend of coffee knowledge and plating desserts prepared by the baking and pastry team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains impeccable quality standards, and provides friendly, efficient customer service. Key Responsibilities Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, specialty coffees, and teas Operate, clean, and maintain all coffee equipment, including espresso machines and grinders Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace at the coffee bar and dessert station, including mugs, plates, and inventory. Dessert Plating & Presentation: Plate and finish desserts with precision and consistency, adding garnishes like whipped cream, sauces, or glazes Ensure all display desserts are merchandised attractively in the bakery case or serving area. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines during preparation and plating. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or barista role is a plus. Strong attention to detail, particularly in presentation and following recipes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a friendly, positive, and professional attitude is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and quality standards. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Passion for coffee, food, and providing exceptional customer service.
