Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with diverse needs across multiple school sites near Tijeras, NM. Serve a dynamic caseload of students aged 3 to 22, adapting as occupational therapy coverage rotates for staff on leave. This onsite role, scheduled for 32.5 hours per week from November 1st through May 27th, 2027, is ideal for an OT who thrives in a flexible, engaging environment and enjoys making a meaningful difference.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Current OT license required
• Experience working in school-based settings
• Comfort with students ranging in age from early childhood through young adult
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and locations as staff transitions occur
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students with a variety of disabilities
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed, depending on staff coverage requirements
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized OT interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress notes, and outcomes
• Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and other support staff to optimize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
• Adjust service delivery as new needs or coverage changes arise
