Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students across multiple school sites near Tijeras, NM, as an Occupational Therapist. From November 1st to May 27th, you’ll step in to assist students ranging from ages 3 to 22 who present a variety of disabilities. Your flexibility and expertise will help ensure continuity of care, as you provide crucial services during OT staff transitions. This is a 32.5-hour-per-week, onsite-only role where each week brings new challenges and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license
• Experience or strong interest in working with students in a school environment
• Comfortable serving a diverse caseload with a range of physical, developmental, and learning differences
• Adaptable to changing assignments and school sites as staffing needs shift
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and school staff

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students ages 3 to 22
• Assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Document session notes, progress, and communications in accordance with school policies
• Adapt strategies to accommodate a dynamic caseload as students and locations change
• Consult and collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed to ensure uninterrupted OT services
