As our CNC Press Brake Fabrication Specialist, you’ll own the setup, operation, and quality of complex bends across multiple press brake platforms. You’ll arrive to a clean, organized cell, review your job packet, and get right to work forming parts to print with confidence and care.
A day in the life- Power up and operate Accupress, Dener, and Toyokoki press brakes to form components to specification.
- Perform complete tooling setup and removal — select dies, install punches, and validate setups for production runs.
- Use precision measuring tools and measurement gauges to verify features, holding tolerances and documenting results to maintain quality records.
- Read blueprints and apply shop math to confirm bend allowances, backgauge positions, and sequences.
- Track accurate part counts and label finished part containers with customer, part number, quantity, and shop order details.
- Collaborate with your supervisor and teammates to coordinate priorities and resolve challenges.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE; keep your machine, tooling, and workstation clean and orderly every day.
- Meet or exceed established quality and performance standards while troubleshooting equipment and mechanical issues as they arise.
- Press Brake platforms: Accurpress, Toyokoki, Amada, Mitsubishi, Bystronic, Cincinnati
- Measurement Gauges and precision instruments
- Expertise in equipment and mechanical troubleshooting
- Proficiency in machine setups for production runs
- Strong shop math and blueprint reading
- Experience with PPAP processes and documentation
Second-shift opportunities available on a 4x10 schedule (four ten-hour days). Hourly compensation includes a 20% shift premium.
