Grand Haven, MI, 1st shift, $18.00+ per hour

Job Summary

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to produce high-precision, custom-machined components that support industries such as automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. Your skill and attention to detail will ensure our customers receive parts that meet the highest quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

Machine Operation: Set up and operate machines to manufacture precision-turned components according to specifications.
Quality Assurance: Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to ensure accuracy and consistency.

In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while contributing to overall production efficiency and quality.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

Prior experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing or job shop environment
Ability to set up machines, change tools, and dial in parts accurately
Capable of working independently and staying focused in a fast-paced setting

Skills:

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of CNC lathe operations, tool offsets, and part finishing to produce high-quality results.
Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to verify part dimensions and quality.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining tight tolerances, safety standards, and consistent production output.
