Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Grand Haven, MI. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, helping us to produce high-precision, custom-machined components that support industries such as automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. What You'll Be Doing
As a Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Machine Operation: Set up and operate machines to manufacture precision-turned components according to specifications.
Quality Assurance: Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while contributing to overall production efficiency and quality.
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing or job shop environment
Ability to set up machines, change tools, and dial in parts accurately
Capable of working independently and staying focused in a fast-paced setting
Skills:
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of CNC lathe operations, tool offsets, and part finishing to produce high-quality results.
Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers to verify part dimensions and quality.
Attention to Detail: Commitment to maintaining tight tolerances, safety standards, and consistent production output.
