Position Overview

A precision manufacturing company in South Jersey is seeking an experienced Lead CNC Mill Machinist for a full-time, first-shift position. The ideal candidate has experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines and is committed to producing high-quality precision parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines.

• Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.

• Assist operators with machine setups and troubleshooting.

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.

• Verify parts meet quality standards and required tolerances.

• Follow manufacturing procedures and safety standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC milling machines.

• Proficiency with CAM software and CNC programming.

• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Experience using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable, organized, and quality-focused.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machining centers.

• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.

• Experience machining custom or high-precision parts.

• Large horizontal boring mill experience is a plus.

• Manual machining experience is a plus.
