Swiss CNC Applications Engineer

Job Title
Responsibilities:
- Managing full projects, demonstrations, and various client projects to ensure they are finished on schedule and within financial limits
- Executing pre-sale tasks and assessments such as customer meetings, evaluation of potential, equipment evaluation and suggestions, part processing suggestions, and creation of comprehensive proposals
- Creating/executing personalized demonstrations and educating clients on the proper set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines
- Providing training to clients on the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
- Generating precise cost evaluations, composing engineering assessments, and deciphering drawings and specs
- Traveling to client sites for hands-on training and engineering support.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing
- Possessing and upholding a thorough understanding of the machine tool industry and company product lines
- Familiarity with Fanuc based controls, 5-axis experience preferred
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and conversational programming
- Ability to think quickly, evaluate a situation, and make informed decisions.
