About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President Fund Controller for a pivotal role in leading the financial operations of residential credit funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the compliance, accuracy, and efficiency of reporting and investor relations. This includes supervising external auditors, tax preparers, and fund administrators, as well as preparing and reviewing detailed financial statements, management fees, and performance metrics. The role also involves managing treasury operations, overseeing payment processes, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification preferred, and 8-12 years of experience, ideally with a background that includes both Big 4 accounting and private sector exposure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced financial reporting tools is required, and experience in real estate debt or general debt strategies is highly desirable. The role demands strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ambitious approach to achieving organizational success are also essential.
