About the Position

# Job Opportunity – High Risk OB Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 weekend shifts per schedule; patient ratios range from 1:1 to 6:1 depending on acuity; charge nurse and CNC support available each shift Highlights:

• 25-bed High Risk OB unit specializing in antepartum care, labor and delivery, and cesarean sections
• Diverse case mix including high-risk antepartum patients, vaginal deliveries, c-sections, magnesium drip management, and bereavement care
• Experience with Connect and Expanse documentation systems
• Float opportunities within women's services including OBED, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery
• Supportive team environment with charge nurse coverage and unit secretary assistance when available
• 2 positions available for qualified candidates

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Tennessee
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN
• High risk antepartum nursing experience
• Labor and delivery experience required
• Ability to circulate cesarean sections
• Experience managing patients on magnesium drips
• Gynecological nursing experience preferred
• Adherence to dress code: navy blue, teal blue, or grey scrubs
