Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position in Washington, DC. This role involves providing specialized care to preterm and critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU setting. The nurse will manage ventilators, oscillators, pressors, and care for micro preemies, ensuring adherence to neonatal protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the District of Columbia, at least 2 years of NICU experience, current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), stability for handling high-acuity neonates, and a minimum of 3 years of NICU experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the location and be capable of performing vents, oscillators, pressors, and care for micro preemies.
• Experience with bedside procedures including IV insertions, intubations, septic workups, and parental education.
• Responds to neonatal emergencies and participates in all high-risk deliveries and C-sections.
