Job Responsibilities Support attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents (contracts, agreements, business communications) Conduct factual research (exercise judgment and communicate with other departments to gather information and documents that may be relevant to a transaction or controversy, or that may be required to respond to litigation and regulatory investigations, monitor third‑party lawsuits and regulatory matters as may be requested, respond to queries and investigations, prepare summary reports) Project management for legal cases, litigation, transactions Legal file organization and management, including use of electronic systems to input, store, retrieve, and report relevant information Prepare legal forms/templates/PowerPoint presentations Provide support for International Trade Compliance Program Compile periodic litigation reports Compile binders, and other physical files and meeting materials upon request Assisting with departmental budget process and processing of legal fees Consistently demonstrate sound judgment to evaluate needs, take initiative, and work independently, while recognizing when it is appropriate to escape an issue or to seek input from an attorney or business representative Knowledge, Skills, And Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) and/or Paralegal certificate from an ABA accredited school Minimum 7 years of Paralegal Experience or legal assistant Broad paraprofessional generalist skill set, has demonstrated excellent problem‑solving skills Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); exposure to Visio Experience with a document management system Strong organizational and time management skills Must be able to handle multiple time‑sensitive matters and prioritize needs Excellent communication skills and ability to work constructively and effectively in a group or team setting Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects and see through to completion with limited supervision #Plains The selected candidate will be eligible for company benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Free Parking.
