Job Responsibilities

• Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide insights and guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapy practices that promote sustained progress at home.
• Track and Record Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment as necessary to keep patients on track with their goals.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Required Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
