Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Detail in Wichita KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic aero and defense location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post offering the opportunity to support daily operations with agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while putting people first.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors by following site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings production areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and help to support compliance with site policies for restricted or controlled areas.
• Complete routine reports logs and incident documentation and communicate clearly with Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives regarding daily operations and security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
