If you have any of the following conditions or disabilities, we encourage you to reach out to the Human Resources Department to determine if this role is a fit for you.***Asthma, COPD, or other related breathing conditionsAversion/Allergies to strong smells, gases, and fumesSeizure disorder(s)Certain Sleep Disorders, such as Narcolepsy***Come Join Our Family!Located in Manheim, PA, we are currently searching for a Heavy-Duty Yellow Equipment and Diesel Mechanic!What You Will Do:Perform diagnostic, repair and maintenance on trucks, construction equipment, including auxiliary components in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.Knowledgeable in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment.Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.Adhere to manufacturer’s warranty policies and procedures.Capability to independently analyze and safely resolve problems.Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.Special projects and other job duties as assigned.You Have:Diesel Engine Technical degree and/or training or relative and transferable experience.At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience working on yellow equipment and diesel engines.Knowledge in the safe operation of all garage tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, hoists and jacking equipment.Ability to Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.Ability to read, understand and interpret technical data via instruction manuals.Basic computer skills with the ability to learn new systems and software.A valid driver’s license.Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.You Might Have:A Commercial Driving License (A or B)PA State Inspection LicenseASEsYour own toolsWe Offer:Competitive SalaryHealth InsuranceLife Insurance401K with Company matchEligible for Annual BonusA fun, family environmentand much more!!For over 40 years, our motto has been "If it's service, it's us".
