Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needs and responses to care. Uses sound nursing judgment in patient care decisions. Provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses. Administers medications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care. Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintains professional standards. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of a professional nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree) Current NYS Registered Nurse license Certification in BLS and ACLS 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and problem-solving tools Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!
