Details Acute Care Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting with 44 beds Night shift schedule, 7p–7a, 12‑hour shifts Patient ratio of 1:5, with potential for 1:6 CNA support available, generally at a 1:10 ratio Telemetry is present on the unit but monitored by a separate unit EMR system is MEDITECH; experience preferred but not required Every other weekend requirement Holiday coverage required on an as‑needed basis Floating required to other acute care units, cardiology (for medical patients), and the EC for acute care patient holds Requirements Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required Current BLS and NIHSS certifications, both from the American Heart Association (AHA) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or acute care specialty experience At least 1 prior travel assignment required A copy of your Driver's License is required for consideration Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (based on address on Driver's License) to be eligible Additional Information Orientation consists of 1 week of general orientation (including EMR training) followed by 2 days of floor‑specific orientation Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue Candidates who have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for placement Any time‑off or scheduling requests must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment Albany, GA is a city of approximately 80,000 residents, located about 175 miles from Atlanta and roughly 88 miles from Tallahassee, FL American Traveler Job ID #P-710908.
