About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP of Sales for its aerospace services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth in the sector, as well as proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a leader who can expand and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, lead a sales team to exceed revenue targets, and ensure exceptional service delivery to clients. The VP of Sales will also be expected to stay abreast of market trends, manage the development of persuasive business proposals, and represent the company at major industry events. Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, with a Master's degree strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development within the aerospace industry is required, along with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas. The role demands a candidate with comprehensive knowledge of the aerospace industry, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership ability, be adept at motivating high-performing teams, and be willing to travel extensively to meet business needs.
